Here we had a dated pool: squared brown brick coping, dated tile and a misplaced planter.
Working closely with my client, a high-end interior designer, we came up with the plan. We removed the planter, diving board, all the brick coping, and the brick that covered the raised wall near the spa. The tile and plaster were removed as well.
Keeping with the colors of the home and deck, we chose a light sandstone. The old ceramic tile was replaced with glass mosaic tile. The spa spillway was raised, creating a single spillway allowing the water to cascade to the pool below. The pool was finished in a medium gray plaster.
